2019 has marked the creation, community and construction commencement of Keysborough’s new neighbourhood, Everlea. With the Melbourne market welcoming consistent growth throughout the calendar year, Everlea has evolved parallel to that growth, with the following 5 highlights encompassing the success and excitement of this development, that is one of the last of its kind.

  1. Keysborough real estate and population growth

The suburb of Keysborough is going from strength to strength. Located within the coveted catchment of Melbourne’s South-East, it has attracted a number of young families, young professionals, and those looking to downsize in a community with fantastic accessibility and amenities.

Alongside Melbourne’s overall growth, Keysborough has experienced 68.2% growth over the last four years, compared with Melbourne on average seeing a 7.9% growth rate. And it’s not just the property data which is signalling high growth for Keysborough; a significant population surge of 5,561 residents in 2012 to now 11,838 residents in 2019 represents 112% growth). With an exciting trajectory like this, Everlea residents are poised at the forefront of a growing suburb in Melbourne.

  1. Almost 80% of Everlea’s released townhouses are sold

Of the Everlea townhouses currently released, 80% are sold. The unique nature of the development is designed so that each townhouse has its own private garden, as well as access to Everlea Park, which is the central feature of the neighbourhood. These design features, and the bespoke lighting and colour scheme of the interiors, has made many Everlea residents fall in love with their new home, selecting one of seven diverse floorplans that all offer various features.

Our sales agents are currently selling premium park-front homes which are positioned in an enviable spot, with direct access to Everlea Park and a remarkable view of the development and green spaces. 2019 has welcomed many residents to the Everlea community, with interested buyers encouraged to visit the Display Suite and learn more about the available townhouses that could be a place to call home.

  1. A diverse community united in their desire for a connected lifestyle

Community is the element that has enabled Everlea to thrive in 2019, which shows that the neighbourhood will always welcome a diverse community. First home buyers, young families, young professionals and downsizers are all finding Everlea provides the connected lifestyle that is afforded in a location such as this. Everlea Park and the pedestrian path network that runs through the development has been created so that community members can immerse in these green spaces together. Our team of architects and builders are bringing a neighbourhood to life that will provide many functions for all, meeting the needs of families, young couples and empty nesters.

  1. New services announced in Keysborough

Fuelled by the strong growth of Keysborough, a number of developments have been announced for the local area, which Everlea residents can enjoy the convenience of. In November of 2019, HomeCo Keysborough opened its doors, with supermarkets, grocers, cafes, specialty stores and child care facilities now the neighbours of Everlea. With more than 10 retailers (including Aldi, an IGA and TattsLotto) part of this newly built centre, there has never been a better-located home for those looking to be connected to amenities and services.

Tatterson Park, which is 1.4km from Everlea, was also announced in November 2019 as the home of the South Keysborough Community Centre with plans to start building in the new year. This significant development will feature child care, kindergarten, community event space, cafes, and many multi-use facilities that will be available for use by the Keysborough community. The City of Greater Dandenong confidently selected this site over many others, encouraged by the strong growth of Keysboough’s community.

  1. Construction commenced

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, is the construction commencement of Everlea. With major works kicking off in August 2019, the Everlea community is well under construction, which is an exciting milestone for future residents. By visiting the Everlea Display Suite, you can see that activity is humming away onsite, with more developments and completion timelines announced in the new year. Having selected fine architects for this exciting development, interested buyers have a degree of flexibility over the design of the floorplans, and are encouraged to discuss options with our team of friendly sales agents.
