Community is more than a principle that has spelled the design and flow of the Keysborough Townhouses. It’s also a lifestyle element that ties its residents to the opportunities and hubs that exist beyond 452 Cheltenham Road. As we’ve seen with the new HomeCo Keysborough build, the area is fertile with community engagement and services available for Keysborough Townhouses residents. Now only a short distance away, Tatterson Park has been announced as the ‘Keysborough South Community Hub’.

Keysborough South Community Hub

Many years in the making, the Greater Dandenong Council has selected Tatterson Park to be the location of the South Community Hub. The site was unanimously selected on November 11 for it’s “high profile, highly visible” location that serves the growing Keysborough population. Tatterson Park is an established area in the community complete with a dog park and play area, on the corner of Chapel and Villers Road. The Community Hub will include the following features:

– Community meeting rooms

– Kindergarten rooms

– Child care rooms

– Maternal and Child Health consulting suites

– Community lounge

– Reception, kitchen, amenities etc.

– Outdoor community / play spaces

The announced Keysborough South Community Hub location has been well received by local community members, with the central location to receive an access road built into the park via Villers Road. The City of Greater Dandenong believes this will further accessibility for locals. The Keysborough Townhouses site is only a 1.4km distance from the new Keysborough South Community Hub, offering residents of all ages an opportunity to engage and contribute to the growing community.

The Growing Keysborough Townhouses Community

When The City of Greater Dandenong was determining the location for the Keysborough South Community Hub, they researched the area and its community trends. The council report found that the Keysborough estates’ population has seen a significant surge of 5,516 residents in 2012, to 11,838 residents in 2019.

With Keysborough Townhouses one of the last developments of its kind, there are still townhouses available in a community that has and will continue to see enormous growth that will award its residents with greater amenities and access to enhanced community services. With the neighbourhood once described by realestate.com as ‘a flourishing, multicultural, residential suburb in the city’s south-east’, Keysborough Townhouses and Tatterson Park will be welcome additions to this thriving community.

Keysborough Townhouses Residents  Look Forward To More In 2020/21

With the key features of the development outlined above, Keysborough Townhouses residents will find that the Keysborough South Community Hub holds appeal for individuals of all ages and circumstances including young couples, young families and empty nesters moving in. Here’s what we are looking forward to welcoming when the site is completed its build in 2020/21*.
